"Bharata Natyam"




JKKN terus menawarkan program-program berwajah 1Malaysia. Melalaui Program Siri Teater Tradisional Malaysia 2010, sebuah pementasan seni tarian kaum India bakal dipersembahkan pada 17 Julai ini bertempat di Panggung Bandaraya dan masuk adalah percuma. "Bharata Natyam" ini ditarikan oleh Kumpulan 'The Temple of Fine Arts' yang terkenal sebagai sebuah organisasi kebudayaan lasak memperjuangkan serta mempromosikan muzik dan tarian tradisional tanpa mengira bangsa, agama dan budaya!.....Jom ke sana malam ni!!........

Featuring the classic Indian dance Bharata
Natyam from Tamil Naidu Region in Southern India Classical dance of Bharata Natyam is one of the classical Indian dances, full of tradition.Typically, a solo dance performed by a female dancer.

The dramatic and passionate dance is based on ancient Indian epic stories and displays more than 100 styles of dance and body movement which includes the movement of hand, foot and eye.

In view of this dance to take some time to master, there are some children dancers began to train at the early age of five years. To complete the presentation of dance, there are six levels of performance known as Alarippu, Jatiswaram, Sabdam, Varnam, Delete and Thillana. These stages combine elements Nritta or pure dance and Nritya (dance expressions).
